Time for Round 4 of the Annual Beginning of Sumer ZOMGBBQ. As always, I'm posting this up over 1 month in advance so if you don't get the day off from work then you're a moron!

WHAT : The sweetest barbecue in SoCal for all Nissan and drifting enthusiasts! Also easily one of the largest and most popular!

From the 5 North, you will exit on Griffith Park Dr., then make a right.

Go up that, and then you will get to a bunch of signs and what-have-you. Make a left. Then follow these awesome little maps that I put so much effort into making.

Well I basically just started tossing food into all the grills. I was throwing hot links, burgers, telling people to go eat or if food was ready. This year was kind of a bit awkward, last year we just got there and started grilling this year we had to push eachother to eat. In the end it ended up being fun. Ran into a lot of old faces and met a couple new ones. It will be a shame to let our annual BBQ die just because some people sucked ass at sharing.

These meets are for making friends and sharing our enjoyment in the drift/car scene. Sad that ppl were excluding others. All food brought was for everyone as posted in the first post. Maybe next year some of us will rub off on the buzz kills.

the bbq is definately salvagable because we have a giant group of good people who can lead by example and regulate. i think the main problem was there werent many of those og people there today. the new people just need to learn to be better. there will always be the lame people at any meet.

keep having the bbq, just lets work on organizing it a bit and the main problem is that a few people do need to step up to do certain jobs. like how there is always someone who grills. always someone who brings a bbq. without those kinds of kindness we would all be fucked :D i got there at 1:30 so i have no idea what it was like before i got there.

We rolled with the 909 caravan (off the 60) Not sure what to think about everyone playing "musical lanes" it got kinda irritating. Idk what happened with the bbq.. sorry it got jacked cause that really sucks.. I sat by my car the whole day Just because of that reason and it's unfortunate and immature that someone from our own forum, and our own family would steal anything from anyone. The turnout was pretty good, I agree there was a weird vibe. I heard about the "community bbq" being separated from the "invite only bbq" I was confused, that's pretty stupid. I think we need to pull together as a group, and show a little respect towards Teddy for organizing such a great event.. and not take advantage of it :/ Hope the next bbq goes smoother.

yea, this bbq was nothing like the previous ones... that certain group of people that charged and didn't share food was ridiculous.. It's a potluck style bbq, stash some for yourself and share some also..

I ended up bringing my grill and manned it all day, i even left it for cause i had to bounce and that was the last grill left.. Anyone take off with that grill? it was one of the old weber grills.

Alot of the guys i hung out and met today were cool! "babyjesus" helped get our grill started, "Gizmo" ran around constantly loading our grill with damn food, "spooled240" help man the grill after i had food coma, "teddy" gave us some hotwings, and we had so much leftover we just left it on top of the damn cooler!

Overall, it was ok... this bbq definitely changed from the past 2 times i went.. That small group was pretty stingy.. people drinking and smoking in the lot.. MOST, but NOT ALL of the IE guys were pretty fucking immature..

zomg's something i always look forward to but the new crowd definitely has a different vibe..
