I just replaced the 3 cluster lights with blue t10 led ones and they work fine if I turn key to ON position but if I start the car with headlights on, they shut off. Anyone know why it does that?

so,.....when the car is running and the headlights are off........it lights up just fine too?

a green/black wire is about all that connects the cluster to the headlights(edit,.on a s13),.....maybe check for torn/pinched/exposed wires from when you took the cluster out,...and put it back in

So I figured out why it wasn't working. I had the LED reversed so I just flipped them around and now they work perfect at night. The only thing I can't get to work is the clock back light. Is the back light supposed to come on when I turn on the headlights?

If you put a bright white 194 LED in the clock spot it lights up a awesome cool blue color.

I put a T5 blue led behind the clock but it doesn't seem to turn on anymore. I got it to turn on a few times but now it doesn't anymore?

I forgot the clock uses a T5 bulb. Try turning the LED 180 degrees or push it in its place harder. Aftermarket LEDs don't fit as snug as the old bulb.
