Ok people here is my problem.... My girl got me some elc. gauges for my 240 drift build! The oil pressure gauge came with a 2 wire sending unit that i have going directly to the back of the gauge (the wires).. It works out of the car but when i put the sending unit in the adapter block it grounds out and does not work! (Ive tried searching so dant say it!) any ideas? Ive tried....

1) sending unit in adapter block = Fail
2) running a remote line = Fail
3) running just the signal wire = Fail
4) running both (P/G) wires to the signal side = Fail
5) running just the signal wire w/ diff ground = Fail

Any ideas? Thanks for the help!!!

ok if its grounding out then u have the wrong signal wire
its a process of elimination...
go down the list and find it
also 2 wire sensors r the chinese copy crap
try a autometer oil pressure sensor
w the same gauge..
the ground side is ground...
the crap gauges will werk till the brakes fall off or the gauge reads backwards
im on my 4th in 9yrs in the same car
its usually the sensor or the gauge is bad
manufacturer defect...
