Hello all

please i need some help and this is so confusing.

i haves some z32 rear spindles + 5 lug hubs + brakes, complete set. But i am looking to see if these are 100% bolt on 240sx s13 rears?? would i be able to use the drum brakes? if not bolt on, what do i need to modify?

so if these bolt on it would be best bang for buck cause i get bigger rear brakes and 5 lugs, all in one. rightt?

Also, if the z32 spindles are direct bolt on, i would just need to get the s14 front spindles right?

please help me out, this is confusing, and i have searched.

thankss!

You need front conversion hubs, or s14 five lugs with the lower contol arm then calipers bolt right up

In the rear you need the ebrake assembly, not the spindle. Just the hub and dust shield with the pds, then the calper and rotors of couse. But no spindle. Then to get your ebrake to work you need to get cable off a 2+2 300zx

Thanks a lot for the reply.

So basically if i get s14 5 lugs hubs with s14 LCA, then the s14 caliper should bolt on? s14 LCA bolts on to s13? ( been researching and read that if you bolt on s14 hubs to s13 spindles theres a gap, so s14 spindles must be used with some spacers for the bolts)

also, i realized that i have R33 rear brake assembly, its the same as the Z32 right?

would i need the complete assembly of 300zx parking brake or just the last section left and right?

thanks guys

OK after vast research i think i got it. Please tell me if its right or wrong. Please feel free to add.

Front:
s14 hubs with spindles, s14 LCA (or s13 LCA with s14 ball joint)
just insert spacers on s14 Spindles.

Rear:
z32 (R33) hubs without spindles, E-Brake Lines.

you seem to have it man, if you go with z32 brakes dont forget your Nabco or Tokico BMC for an even better pedal feel & invest in conversion lines as well if you can afford it.

Do you really want to go with ebay for BRAKE LINES?? Go with SPL, they're the best and cheapest option at about $90 for all four lines. SPLparts.com

As far as front 5 lug hubs, I'd say go with Drop Engineering. They have a 3 year warranty. So if you pop a bearing, you get a new one for free. MVP sells them (they're a site sponsor).

You can use the Z32 front brakes and S14 rear brakes without changing out the ebrake, but if you use Z32 brakes all around, you NEED to use the Z32 ebrakes. You can use the oem ebrake cables from the 2+2 Z32 on the S13 with no modification.

Because you're asking questions about such readily available information, I'm just going to tell you to keep in mind that z32 brakes come in two different sizes, 26mm and 30mm. Make sure to find out what you have before you waste your time buying the wrong size rotors. The information on how to distinguish them from each other is very easy to find.
