i just put in a BRAND new rack and pinion and its already leaking. My car has an rb25, could it be that the pump is too strong? I would hate to pull the rack out again after i just put it in, its a few days old. I got it from autozone and i would not want to switch it out for it to leak again. Here is where its leaking from.

That's nothing.... the actual rack and pinion seals are what you have to worry about. Try some sealant on those threads.

don't put actual sealant, if you don't know that already
get teflon tape or something that seals the gaps but doesn't lock the threads

I'm going to try. But still a new product shouldnt be leaking anywhere. And those fittings are flared so i dont get why they are leaking unless the seal is bad, will try some sealant though,

you shoulnt put teflon tape on Straight thread fittings. its only for tapered threads..those fitting probably seal via an o-ring, or flare. pull the lines off and take a picture of the ends.

The fittings must be loose and / or old... replace them and see if it stops
Edit: might be a good time to go with ss lines & an fittings? just an afterthought
