i noticed the other day that the top two coils on the front of my car rest on each other, if i cut one off, would i be sacrificing handling or ride quality? i dont think it would since they just sit on each other anyway. im not sure if i have a dead coil in the back, if i dont i probably wont cut, cuz it'll be uneven. thanks
tanabe super down precedo springs (1.5" drop)
kyb agx shocks/struts

The top coils aren't "dead." THey still put force on on the car, just not enough to keep them from being crushed. Don't cut them, especially if they are already aftermarket lowering springs. You may find that the next spring down will just crush to rest on the one below (depending on the spring design).
Regardless, don't.
