I had the car tuned few weeks ago, after a week it suffered from slightly blown headgasket(it was overheating pretty badly 235-240).
After installing new headgasket(+copper spray) and new thermostat, it still overheats a little bit, hoovers around 217-222 when highway driving or pushing it.
Any idea what could be an issue here, or is it normal to be this high?
I don't recall it going above 210ish pre tune, then again I didn't really push it back then. It has seen about two dozen 8.5k rpm runs after tune.
Thanks!

Do you have an Air fuel gauge?

Also what motor are we talking about? SR?

probable cause is improper bleeding, water pump, or thermostat so i advise to bleed the radiator first then go on from there

Bleeding was done well, I didn't do it myself I went to friends shop to do it, they create vacuum and then put the coolant in, not sure if there is actual name for it :)
I'm on the third thermostat now, so unless I'm extremely unlucky it should be ok as well.
Water pump is next then! I will also get a bigger fan.
These s30 sr swaps are tough heh
