Hey guys, a week or so ago I burnt up 2 starters starting my car. there was lots of wear marks on the bendix teeth and something just wasnt meshing right. I pulled the brand new spec clutch and spec alumn flywheel out and counted 110 teeth on the flywheel. I still had my old ACT prolite flywheel kicking around and i counted 108 teeth on that.
last night i put the old re machined act one back in and the car fired up instantly and runs perfect. I bought the flywheel directly from SPEC, and they are telling me that they cant do anything for me because they sent me an SR flywheel and it should be right. AND they are telling me that they dont even make an alumn flywheel because no one buys them. when someone orders one from them they purchase it from fidanza and re sell it as SPEC.
can someone please tell me the proper amount of flywheel teeth for a s13 red top SR20det RWD. they are trying to sqrew me out of a refund and its getting pretty frustrating. thanks!!
