View Full Version : Any honest shops that do good work on dual cam swaps in the 626 area?

I have a 1990 and it's going dead on me and I'd like to swap it out for a dohc. I was just wondering if there are any honest and reliable shops out there in the 626 whom people have had experiences with. I'd rather pay extra for good work and a clean and reliable motor. If a phone number and address could be provided it would be great. If it helps I'm located around the Rowland Heights and Walnut area. Thanks a lot in advance guys.

There is a 240 shop in south el Monte called smoothlines

It's on alpaca st main streets are rush and potreros I think. U can google them smoothlines

Highly recommend him as well.

He rebuilt an SR for me and will be working on two other engines I need to drop off soon.

i got my SR rebuilt at G-dimensions. About a year+ ago. never have had an issue with it!!

Located in walnut. Off of Fullerton rd.

Ask for james. chill guy walks you through everything before starting on a car.

G-Dimensions highly recommended, had my SR rebuilt in late 09, still runs very strong couldnt be any happier . James is easy to talk to, will explain everything in detail before doing anything on your car. Since your around Walnut area your not too far from them.
