"so ive decided im just going to relocate it into the engine bay. now my question is. do i have to cut the harness and solder+heatshrink every little wire? or can i disconnect it somewhere near the fusebox and pull it through the fender. and if i do cut and solder, do i have to extend the wire? or is the wire already long enough."

disconnect the harness at the ecu

pull the harness (connector) through the firewall from the wheel well

pull it into the engine bay and run it back through the hole near the firewall

the key to doing this is using metal cutters on the holes you pull the harness through because the connectors are too big to go through

Wait, so you're trying to get the fuse box from the exhaust side of the motor through the firewall? If so, take the bracket off the back of the fuse box, pull all the relays, and then its just finesse from there.

yeah I am trying to pull the harness out of the under dash on drivers side so that I can put it above shock tower,, disco the white thing but the fuse block doesnt have all the wires with quick disconnects.... grrrr

I pulled one last week, once I got everything from the dash disconnected, and the stuff by the kick panel disconnected, it pulled out easily with some finesse. Make sure you're pulling everything from inside the car out into the fender. It won't go the other way.

what else from dash needs to be pulled? i assume its the three relays and ground cable + the smj in the kick pannel right?

Yeah, just make sure you back out the bolts in the white parts, so you can unplug everything and pull it out,

do you think it will be long enough to cross the top of the shock tower when I reroute it?

it has been for everyone else as far as I know.
