Newbie here... but not so new to 240sx's

Hi guys and the few gals that are out there... I'm new to this forum and just wanted to say *hey* to all of you... I met this guy that had a super nice 98 s14... I forgot his name on here... but he said this is one of the forums I should check out. I just moved to the CA from Miami last month so I'm trying to get situated here. My car just arrived last week so I'll be looking for some shops and planning my mods.

Oh BTW I have a 93 240SX that I'm trying to fix up... it was my first car and I'll probably never get rid of it :D I also have a new Mini.

I've been reading through some of the comments and it looks like I should use the search function for most of my info. So I'll do that, but please don't get mad if I *accidently* post something. I'll be sure to search hard so I don't get one of these :repost:

there are lots of new shops that have seemed to opened sporadically...

namely, J-Stunned, Gorgeous Garage, Togue Friends and Don Factory...they do very good work and can get really good hard to find parts, but those guys are kinda asshole-ish....go to them if you liked being tossed around and like authority, but i hear they are playful people:confused:

Man... I wish they actually judged on car usage at these things... Most of those darn "drift cars" that show up just drive around parking lot pimpin and stuff... I think I will test out the SoCal togue, pick up some bugs/dirt/chips... and slap a sticker on the car that says "With fresh touge dirt!!!" Haha...

I need some serious help to compete with some of those guys... they're too serious about how their cars look... I'm just parking inside so my car doesn't get hit by a dummy in the parking lot or wrongly vandalized and stolen from. What happened to all the drift events when you could just leave your car/tools/wheels/jacks out in the open and everyone would watch them for you???
