BOBA CAFE: Second Official Crepes & Car Meet! (Friday, April 22)

Boba Cafe's first meet in Cerritos had a great turn out with over 200 cars, great crepes and boba drinks.. There was no revving and no cops! Hopefully the next one is going to be as chill as the first!! The lines for boba and crepes were really long, so if you guys want to get a crepe, please come early!!! Staff is limited but they're still going to be working their best to serve us all night! Any questions, feel free to ask me!

WHEN: FRIDAY, APRIL 22nd from 8PM-1AM*. All makes and models are welcome. Just leave your Fast & Furious attitudes at home.
We have ZERO tolerance for burnouts, racing, revving or loud music!! Anyone doing so will be asked to LEAVE!! Please don't let your actions bring this chill meet down.

They're located on Artesia and Norwalk Blvd. Right off the 91 FWY!
The Norwalk entrance driveway is lowered-car friendly!!

Parking spaces are LIMITED so it's first come, first serve!!

so who burned the spot? I got down here about 10:30pm and the lot was filled with cops and I got flashed. by the popo letting me know the place wasn't open for business.

No one really ^^ it was just a misinformed cop. WE HAVE PERSMISSION from the property manager and already informed the city & sheriff's department. Someone called and complained about alot of cars in the parking lot. So naturally, one cop came to check it out. He saw all the cars, but didnt know we had permission to stay open longer and serve crepes and drinks.. so he just reacted and kicked everyone out.. He said this "event" was not allowed without a permit. Cop stereotyped the meet as a fast and the furious scene where cars meet up and go race so he gave everybody a few minutes to leave before he started writing tickets. He was a douche who was having a long night's shift.. and wanted to make his night interesting. Sorry to anyone who came out tonight, and didn't get to stay long.. IF there is a next meet, we will have to inform the city and sheriffs in advanced (again).

well good luck with future events, this is the second meet below the 10 fwy I've gone to that was burnt minutes within arriving. I'll stick to the 626 meet where I know the cops

We did speak to the cop and they knew they were in the wrong. We even went to the Cerritos PD and talked to the watchman and explained to him the situation.. he agreed and said if we host a meet again, we just have to call in advance and let them know we will be staying open later than usual.

I wouldnt blame you for coming, the first one was great, and the second would have been as well.... but like I said misinformed cop stopped it early. You could have stayed man, a bunch of us were in the store eating til midnight.
