Just like I said on Socal-Drift, this thing is going to make some pro-am guy really happy. An SR done right, and proven competitive.

Chris you'll have to let me help piece together what you need after this!

I forgot to mention that this motor is way more capable of more HP! I'm starting to consider just retuning it on race gas.

I've seen this motor built. If any of you don't know. it was watched over by Schelley (AEM/Justdrift instructor) AND Hung who used to work for Baker, now he works at HPS. Put together in a climate controlled shop. For those of you that really don't know....Henry ran a whole season of FD on a built KA-T....when people said it couldn't be done reliably.

YouTube - Henry Schelley Smokin Sideway Federal Tyres (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56NkJ4WXfhQ) the KA-T.

yes...a whole fucking season.

this SR is reliable!!!!

No 4 cylinders are fine its lack of skill thats killing formula d, not saying im a pro still room for improvement but I get down with my 4 cylinders and 13b's. Then again u don't even need to be good to compete in formula d anymore. all of the actual good pro am people didnt get an invite. Glws

Lack of skill??? You make it sound easy. Alot of Pro Am guys didn't make it because of budget. Otherwise im sure you would see all of us out there. 4 bangers are great to a certain point before needing to spend thousand of dollars to make it reliable and upgrading everything. Stuff will break.
My case being the motor was safe tuned so the motor wouldn't blow when I overboosted so it would cut ignition to save the motor.

Drifting isn't a cheap sport. It's cheaper than others but still not cheap at all if you don't have backing by sponsors or a fat wallet helping you fund your passion. I think I spent a total of about 6k to do long beach which included prepping the car, tires, entry for team, gas and transportation.

Imagine if you had to pay to travel to the otherside of the US? Easily another 5 to 10k per event. I guess my what im trying to say Money and Reliabilty are KEY. Skill has alot to do with it but not the lack of skill!

Its not easy, I know that and you know that im just sayingg that everyone and their moms swear that the only possible way to compete in formula d now is to have a v8. Which isn't true at all. I know its costly to compete and what not, but this whole v8 or nothing thing is killing it. Its gonne get broing like nascar, same engine, same noise, same ol thing. Hope u find a good engine setup to help with the needed power to compete!

Just had the motor retuned last night on c12 race gas. It is now making 360hp and 350ftlbs to the wheels. I currently am going to stick with motor at this time since I have not received any reasonable offers. If I decide to sell again later I will repost.
