I did a search a bunch of ways and couldnt come up with anything. SO......


My question is do the 180's say 180sx on them in japan? Has anyone ever put different windows on there car? Can you get different windows that don't say anything?:confused:

yes they do say 180sx on them in japan
people have though i think changing to 180sx is stupid but everyone has their reason (or lies to themselves)

it can be done. you can find the windows on Ebay too occassionally and get gangraped on the price


i havent seen windows that say nothing yet...someone show me pls.

ones that say nothing would be cool. Or howabout ones that say nissan on them. Or S13. That would rawk.

I would think a glass replacement shop (that like replaces windshields independent of a dealership) would have blank quarter windows... maybe?

dousan, its just a sticker. however, removing the window to remove the silver sticker is a BIG job.

Once the sticker is removed, simply paint the empty part black and wallah -- nothing on the windows.

that is what i will be doing on my car, whenever I have my windows removed (probably when I paint my roof blaq).

I say just cover it with a sticker... that's what I'll be doing!
I think painting over with black would still leave a visible "240sx" mark... there's got to be a better way to do it!
--I just don't know how.

hey old_s13, are you gonna take the windows off yourself? I wouldn't have the slightest clue on how to take off a window.:confused: Or putting it back on for that matter.

Oh yea, and do you have to take those windows off to paint the roof black?

Not possible, I dont have the proper tools OR knowledge.. I tried, I only made a mess of things. The factory glue that secures the windows is FROZEN, you need a special razor knife that bends in and breaks that seal.. its VERY tough and I am not gonna mess with it. Im gonna leave it for the body shop.

No, but I want to remove as much as possible when painting.. that way it all looks clean.. and not "good enough" like many people seem to paint, nowadays.

Why do you guys want to remove it, I think its a nice little thing to have.

Looks kinda ugly with out. And its kinda dumb to have one thats says 180sx on or 200sx on it, but whatever floats your boat

I think it looks nice too. Are people that ashamed of owning a 240SX?

i wonder if in japan they take out their 180sx windows and put in 240sx ones haha....anywayz i love having a coupe! :)

yes they do that after they swap the ka in.

do people in japan ever swap in KA's?? they would have to import them, much like we do SR's, but does anyone actually do it? i would assume not, just seeing if its been done.

I am sure its been done, someone posted a 180sx with 240sx badging. And also 240sx center panel.

Grass is greener on the other side, although they don't worship our cars as much as we worship thiers.

lol..good stuff. pmed you. coincidentally, i've been looking for some side 180sx windows too. i want to do a zenki 180sx conversion. it's the cheapest for me. haha
