2011 5th Annual Sonic Meet. 1000+ cars last year, come this year. photos-info inside!

Alright well Guys on May 1st 2011 in Morgantown, Pa at the Sonic, there will be the 5th Car meet that has continued to grow and grow. the very first year had only a few dozen cars and last year had over 1000. i counted just over 50 240s last year and well over a couple hundred nissans. it would be great if we could get even more Nissan enthusiasts out this year. it is to raise money for the Make a wish Foundation but it is TOTALLY FREE to go to. Any cars can come out, vw, nissans, ford, porsche...ANYTHING...so bring out what you got!

i posted pictures of last year, so yu guys can get an idea of what its like. Rockstar energy drink sponsored the meet last year and so did some other companies. its in a great location, about 5min from the turnpike and within 1min of a gas station and has tons of food options within walking distance (Sonic, Arbys, Pizza places, chinese. ect.) here is a link to the site for more info and i hope to see alot of you guys out there.

the date for this meet is a very busy day.
Spring nationals is going on that day in etown
Xtreme rides show in Newburgh also happening (which I'll be attending)
and then there is another car show for charity that same day, the C3 spring car and truck show.

oh and dont forget DUB and ny auto show is the same weekend .

maybe its the date?

Ha, who ever missed this missed the biggest meet of the year. We filled a 1500 spot parking lot and more... It was ridiculous...

yeah, plenty of great looking cars out. alot of nissans came out hah tons of 240sx, 350z, a few older skylines, some newer ones, tons of mkIV supras, fd rx-7, exotics, and just tons of other asian and euro imports and domestics...crazy turnout.

im sure it will be there next year, an article i read in the paper (i live around there) said that the surrounding businesses made about $40,000 more than the previous sunday hah so im sure the businesses will encourage it next year. also, sonic the day before, had a bunch of huge trucks drop off tons of supplies so they would have enough food for the event. the cops were also good with it all...no problems from them hah even with people drifting, burnouts, and so on as they were leaving the event. overall, great time and hopefully more will come out next year.
