it's a vlsd, you're not running anything special. use what the fsm tells you to use.

yeah, search the thread man. or google it first. you'll find out that VLSD has vicious fluid that is not refillable. Use whatever cheap diff fluid you want.. like 75w 90 or something like that. you dont need that Royal purple shit either. that is a pure waste of money. you will not see ANY difference with that VS. walmart fluid. once the fluid inside the VLSD has internally broke down, either weld an open diff or by a real one.

You can only change the gear fluid. Any diff oil will do. You can't change the viscous fluid. You should have looked this up before creating this thread
I have a SR intake and SR injectors. PM me

ok well to save you bunch of money and huge headache. Go to your local parts store (o'reilys, autozone, pep boys, ect.) and tell them you need diff fluid for an 90 mercury cougar. The one with the LSD. That way they get you fluid that will work(usually 80-90w) and the additive to make sure you dont burn up the diff in a month. I ran a kaaz 2 way at the track and some how cracked my rear cover and didnt have any exta fluid around. Did what i just told you to do and it felt the exact same.

Royal purple is garbage. IF you want to do it rite, go buy some kaaz fluid or the tomei stuff. Both work the same (yes ive owned a kaaz and tomei diff)
