i have searched and searched and maybe im not smart enough to figure this out the way people are saying it.. but i just did a rebuild on my motor and in the process decided to do the 248/232 cam swap on my car. well i followed the jwt install on the cam install because i didnt mark my cam gears and timing chain when i took it off.. what im trying to figure out (due to my car will not start) when you do this cam swapand the cam lobes on #1 are facing away from each other at tdc is that when i need to move the intake cam another 4 teeth or is the cams suppose to be facing away from each other when at tdc with the 248/232 cam swap?

They should be facing away.

is there a definitive way to ensure that your cams are set right if you didnt mark the cam gears when i took them off? that way i can ensure i get them right and then can do the 4 teeth.. because all i can find is they should be facing away from each other but with a picture and sayings like that they could be off by 1-3 teeth and still would run.. just not very well..
