Crank Angle Sensor test... pass or fail?

I'm doing a KA24DE swap into an 89' SOHC chassis. No fuel or spark. Details here:

So yesterday, I did the test where you pull out the crank angle sensor and give it a turn and listen for the injectors, as per the FSM. I couldn't hear the injectors but I definitely could hear the EGI pump relay clicking and the fuel pump going. But couldn't hear anything from the injectors...

What does this mean?!!? Any ideas?

Have you checked your codes. Mine had a code 11 (bad cas) and the car was kinda running. But terribly and only for about 5 seconds at a time till it broke on me.

Our symptoms relate to a bad cas.

Yup checked codes and got a code 55, so that doesn't help. :rant:
