KA24 SOHC- i dont kno if this matters

I go in the car to start it and i just hear a "click" but nothing else; sometimes i try it a couple of times and it ends up starting but it has been twice now that i try and try and try but no luck!
I got everything checked at Advance and everything came up good.

Now, im frustrated bc it does this sometimes and other times it starts right up w/o any clicks or anything.
I think that there is probably a bad or corroded conection, but just wanted to see what the people that REALLY know stuff around here think.

Do you know what could be the problem?

Thanks in advance!

Make sure all of your battery connections are tight as well as the ones on the starter.

Also if this is a manual car check the clutch switch. Something broke on my where it engages it so the clutch pedal doesn't push it in all the way.

Hope this helps.
