Me and a friend bought this car last year with the intention of having a back up/fun car to play with. Turns out we now both need the money so the car must go.
We're the second owner(s). The car was bought from a good friend of mine who used to work as certified mechanic at a Honda dealer in Oklahoma/Baton Rouge. Most of the miles were driven on Highway. He did mention that the motor has a new head on it and the car does come w/ the old damaged head. Major services have all been done according to him.
The car first came to us w/ broken differential and damaged top.
The top was replaced by us w/ another used one. Unfortunately, the used top has about 2 pin-size holes in it. (very easy fix, we can probably take care of that before the sale)
The diff was replaced by an AP2 diff w/ 40-50k miles on it, if i remember correctly.
The car now runs and drives great. Fluids have all been changed and there are no major mechanical issue. The top folds up and down as it should.
Mods
- DC headers
- some sort of after market exhaust
- Unknown cf hood, front lip (cracked), spoiler, side mirrors (stock mirrors included)
Besides these mods, the car is pretty much stock
Car will also come w/ box of spare/stock parts (side mirrors, head, etc.)
Front tires are brand new
Rears have plenty of tread left.
