Hi guys, I was just doing a bit of research about racing theory, and as most of racing techniques are about corners, I searched the forums to find the best place with info about cornering techniques.

It turns out that www.turnfast.com was the site most people thought was the best and most informative. However, it seems that the site is down, and I just wanted to ask, does anyone know if it is just down temporarily, or forever?

And if it is down forever, does anyone know of any other good resources for racing techniques? Is it possible that someone has this website saved onto their HD?

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

i had 'Speed Secrets: Professional Race Driving Techniques,' read through it in 2 nights, and gave it to a friend. a good thing to read through the night before your first autocross or something but more of an overview than anything else.

i'm slowly working my way through 'Going Faster!' the book put out by the Skip Barber racing school. it's much more in depth and i would HIGHLY recommend it.

Wow thanks for the input...my firewall is a piece o crap...it blocked the site totally. A bit off topic but, what firewall do you guys use? Since nortons is obviously crap if it blocks an entire webpage :rolleyes:

I used to run a Tiny software firewall it worked well but i also needed a virus scan program so i have since moved up to the macaffe security suite which includes a firewall it is great and i have had no problems with it so far but it takes a bit at first beacuse it has to learn what programs communicate automatically after the first week it you are golden

zone alarm pro4 and mcafee antiVirus is GOOD combo!! Where a PC Jimmy...Protect yourselves! :boink:
