Bought a 92 Nissan 240 Se a couple months ago i drove it a few times and one day it over heated and doesnt start now but it cranks so I recently got back to working on it and checked it out and figered were the Ecu was and ran a Self Diagnostic and came up with the code 34 checked in the repair book and it was the Detonation Sensor so I checked it out and it was melted so can that be the problem why it wont start? cause I checked the usaul reasons why cars dont start like spark plugs,starter,Etc

do a compression/leak down test

More that likely since you over heated it you probably blew the head gasket
