Why are these flormats so expensive? ( DMAX )

OK, Ive been thinking about it, and I just can't think of any reason that some floor mats should be priced at $170 for a pair and $250 for a full set. I'm not trying to sound cheap or anything but I think its a little bit ridiculous. I mean what kind of material is being used t justify this price?

The way I see it, it's like buying Porche running shoes for $600+. It's just a way to say "I'm more baller then you". I would buy them if my car were a show car but I'm not sure that I would buy them on a daily. Then again, you could buy them used for next to nothing compared to the MSRP.

<3 my D-Max mats. It's really nice to have a floor mat that is designed specifically for your car. How much do you think OEM floor mats that fit right would cost brand new from the dealership? I have custom Supermade floormats from Karo {Sisal} (aka Vertex Floormats)... Special Special pulled strings favor of a friend, no you can't have them... Custom!!

My fiance HATES them... I keep them clean by telling her "if you get them dirty... I will re-do the entire carpet in the house with it"... so far I have won... waiting till my car is on fire!!

Vertex mats are baller ONLY because they are actually made by KAROism FOR Vertex. Same with supermade, INGS+1 and a couple others.
As far as I know D-max and weapon R are made by the same factory in china, just like all of D-max's lights that you can also buy on ebay.
Bottom line is you people are literally arguing over paying for a label that a company stuck on after the fact.

Weapon R mats are total shit. I had them before and they completely fell apart. I got them for free so whatever, but still they're crap. Vertex ones are nice, but i don't care THAT much so I bought the Dmax ones. Good quality, but not super expensive. I daily my car and yeah they get a little dirty sometimes, but who fucking cares?
