price - $18,000 OBO, no real rush to sell so if i don't get a number/offer i like, I'll gladly hang on to it.

state titled, currently registered, insured, and titled in the state of Florida. We all know what that means.

408/326 hp/tq at 13psi, currently running 16psi.

car ran a 12.3 @ 111mph with bad plugs (gaps were set way off, not my doing), no launch control, and 205 bald tires, easily a 11 sec daily driver.

trades -

well built S14 240SX + cash
05-06 nissan altima SER + cash
01+ Silverado/tahoe/suburban + cash

some stupid AWD burnouts after raining...

YouTube - Messing around in the GTR. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_f3Ni77JOdU)

a fellow Zilvian raised some concerns, and gave me a few suggestions in relation to those vids, and some pics... it's follow by my response.

I wouldn't of posted the pictures of your car in the sand 30 feet from the ocean. This community is familiar with rusted chassis and that picture is scary, even if your chassis has absolutely no rust.
Video's of random launches/"burnouts" and you beating it up wasn't such a good idea. should of talked about the AEM, the amazing r34 swap! or the incredibly clean chassis.

your car is worth every bit of the $18,000 even more! your looking to get. I mean GEEZ!! the engine management and motor alone is worth 1/2 of it!

this FS ad is a big turn off to the market of people who would spend the money.I'm going to copy and paste this back up top, and in my other FS threads.

Dyno tuning vid - self explanitory, getting it tuned

photo of car on beach - rust concerns! ZERO rust on this chassis, it's a florida car, and that day was the first time I've ever had the car anywhere near salt, or salt water, rare does it even ever see rain, as the car is garage kept in a climate controlled environment.

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c336/gainesville_guy2001/DSCF0053-1.jpg

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c336/gainesville_guy2001/DSCF0089-1.jpg

drag racing - just had the car dyno tuned (see above), and i wanted to see what it would run at the track, as far as i know, that's the ONLY time this car has ever been down a drag track, i made 5-6 runs, and called it a day.

anti lag - that shop i pulled out of in the vid? that's where the owner of RS Enthalpy works out of, i had my car tuned not 1 hour before that video, the man shooting the video, is a co owner/operator of RS Enthalpy, closest thing to a controlled environment you can get. since then, i've used launch control maybe 3 times in the 2.5 months it's been since tuning.

AWD burnouts - you can clearly see that it's wet outside, and my tires were and are, bald as a babies ass... i had owned the car for almost a year at that point, and had done NOTHING like that, and i wanted to check it out. one of those AWD honda civic wagon things could have spun all 4 in similar conditions.

now, i know it may look as he said, but i daily drive this car on a daily basis and have for over a year, now if you know anyone who drives thier car like the videos EVERY DAY, it's going to be beat to crap... as you can see, my car is pretty much flawless.. for the most part, i drive it like it's a 1989 buick skylark with a slipping automatic transmission, it's my baby, i take care of it and only put the best of the best in it (look at the parts list, no knock off/replica junk)... on a daily basis, the car rarely ever sees more than 3-4 of the 16psi it's set at, it may see 10-11psi maybe once a week when i'm passing someone on my long commute to work...

as for the mentioned "the engine management and motor alone is worth 1/2 of it!" yes, what some people fail to realize is the amount of money in just the motor set alone, figure this...

2001 R34 VSpec long block - $5000-$6000, just VC's, head, block, and oil pan, no intake, ITBs, or turbos (priced out on Ebay for non Vspec motors)
AEM EMS - $1800-$2000
OS Giken Clutch - $2000
big single turbo set up - $2500
Trust 4" FMIC core - $1700 for just the core, no piping
Tomei short shifter - $475+
Dyno tuning - $1000 + (been on the dyno twice now, both times tuned by Martin, owner RS Enthalpy)
Mobil1 fluids for engine/trans - $150

add all that up and you're at $15,825 high end, in just the motor set alone, not including the car... i didn't really touch base on it as i figured the parts list would speak for its self, but the man had a point. don't just post the fun stuff, but the serious stuff as well.

$18K is a fair asking price i think, even if I've done a AWD burnout once in the rain.

i hope that helps to settle and concerns any potential buyer may have, and if not, feel free to send me a PM with any questions or concerns, and i'll address them as honestly and completely as i can.

we'll start off with what's wrong with the car

cons -

Front main seal leaks a little, 1-2 drops a night after driving hard
S14 SE's, tires are worthless (just meant to be rollers anyways)
driver side folding mirror doesn't fold, pass. side does
turbo has small shaft play, and rattles in comp housing, boost fine, pulls hard, not blown, leaking, or about to fly apart, just a little play.
small coolant leak at water neck from crappy RTV seal when i put the h2o temp gauge in
MINOR stains in seats, but fabric is flawless, they're 20 years old.
no trunk lining (i could care less really)
Hawk HPS squal decent after hard high speed braking
rear subframe bushings are meh, clunks on hard misshifting
lip is cracked
paint finish work is 40% complete (cut/buff/polishing this week)
interior is 8/10
was involved in a right rear 1/4 fender bender, repaired professionally (full photo documentation of restoration upon request).
S13 SE wheel, sold Nardi to get OEM GTR wheel, but got fucked.
sun visor fabric is peeling on driverside

small shit, I've already addressed every major issue with this car.

yeah, i know, but ya know what? they blend in with traffic, they don't garnish as much attetion as other wheels.. i like that, it helps reduce people pulling out there camera phones and about rear ending me, or someone else, trying to take a picture (which has happened 3 times with close calls)... they help the car blend in... that, and riding on 55 sidewall tires is about as comfortable as the day is long for daily driving, they may not "look" cool, but my ass thanks me every day...

figured I'd take a much more subtle approach this time, just stay direct, and on point... but if anyone does come in here and try to shit on my thread, RacerX will have to delete this thread and ban me for a week.

Also, i had a fellow skyline owner PM me stating that my vids and pics of the car at the beach maybe were not a good idea as they basically show the few fun times i've had in this car...

supposed to be sold next week, buyer keeps dragging feet...

monday, no wednesday, no friday...

make me an offer through PM, if he keeps dragging his feet he's gonna lose out. although i think someone had "seconds" on the car, i'll have to make sure first.

as fair as you want to be to potential buyers, you should just call it first come first serve because 18k is a big investment (but worth while seeing as the car is worth 10k more haha) for anyone so like you said for that one guy, he's dragging, and that could ward off potential buyers to go a different route.

i'd take that military offer and call it a day. :D that's 2k worth of gas to have fun and cruise in the car until the dude gets back haha just my opinion.

if i could have this out in Hawaii, i would have taken out a loan, left my house, and lived in this car to pay it off haha. glws, sick ass car!

just want to say in response to this, if anyone puts a deposit down on the car, it will be deregistered, insurance taken off, and parked in the garage, only to be brought out on weekends for a warm up around my neighborhood, then parked again.

not gonna go drive around/beat on someone else's investment/car....

I think you would sell this pretty quickly if you put some decent wheels on it. That car doesn't really say "GTR" when you look at it because of the wimpy wheels.

yeah, but the ride quality is awesome with tall sidewall tires...

either way, car is still pending sale, but i use that in the loosest sense of the word... so it's still pretty much on the market.

reverse drive throughs are a pain in the ass to navigate when the car is steering with the REAR wheels...

casual as fffffuuuuu, it is what it is...

florida wins...

car is officially back on the market, car is no longer pending, buyer fell though... and i now have concrete standards by which i'll apply when selling my car

- you must not be Jamaican
- you must not be under 20 years old, and need parents help
- you must not have to get a loan to buy the car (approval these days are a bitch)
- trade offers have to be legit, a S13 with a red top is not an even trade

also, since i finally settled on a car that i want to replace the GTR with, i'm willing to work on the price a bit more, it's already down from $20k, the car's got a LOT of good shit, offer up accordingly...

prefer cash sale at this point as i found the car i want, and seller is loosely hanging on to it for me... i guess he feels that "let me sell my GTR, and i'll buy this" is considerably more respectable, and reliable than "hold it for three weeks while i apply for loans".

anyone who's interested can feel free to send me a PM, where we can exchange numbers and discuss offers/pricing/final sale.

I'm not sure if this is sold already or what, but I wouldn't do first, second or thirds for this car. First person with 18k to show up at your door step takes it. Plain and simple.
It's a beautiful car though. WOW

state titled, currently registered, insured, and titled in the state of Florida. We all know what that means.

yeah that it can be seized at any minute

thanks, went through some soft sand at that beach, some of the 4x4 truck guys were giving me thumbs up when they saw all 4 spinning and pushing/pulling me through the soft stuff... i gave em a few 4 tire rooster tails..

sale pending.

sale pending at $18K, the buyer, as well as i, know that it's worth far more than asking price..... even had a military guy offer me $20, with $2K just to hang on to it till he gets back.

thanks though!!!

supposed to be sold next week, buyer keeps dragging feet...

monday, no wednesday, no friday...

make me an offer through PM, if he keeps dragging his feet he's gonna lose out. although i think someone had "seconds" on the car, i'll have to make sure first.

first come first served then, everyone has till Friday of next week i guess.

that.
