I'm having two issues right now that are giving me a hard time. The first issue is the clutch pedal. It isn't stiff like others that I have felt. I barely need to press down to engage it and go down the the floor. I replaced the slave cylinder and removed the clutch damper, but it is still soft. Friends have told me it could be the clutch pedal itself. Could it be the spring in the pedal that is worn out? If that was the culprit, I'd rather just buy that instead of the a whole assembly (If that was the case). Is there anywhere on the pedal where I could adjust it?
The next issue is the brake pedal. They are spongy as hell. I replaced them with 300zx calipers all around I received on a parts car. I also replaced the BMC that was on the parts car as well. After the install, we bled the brakes, but nothing happened. I bought a 300zx BMC because people have told me that the one I had wasn't a 300zx BMC. When I got the BMC in the mail, it looked identical to the one I already had except for the reservoir. I recently did a brake flush on the brakes at my old job and nothing happened. Could the seals or pistons in the calipers bad? Barely having any brakes suck. It only gets stiff if I pump the pedal when the car isn't moving or when off. When I had the stock brakes, they were stiff as hell, so I don't think it could be the booster.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
