WHY is this website so slow?

Great, noone is EVER happy. I guess I should have saved my $3,000 on the server I just built for you all. Honestly is a 2.8ghz, 10krpm discs, 1gig of ram not good enough for you? Check you connection or your computer, it isnt our end. Only thing I can think of is our banner system is running off a different server in another location for the time. It will be fixed this week though.

I dont think it's on my end. I have cable modem and all other websites are easily 5 to 10 times faster. I appreciate your investment though. Just frustrating

probably a weak link in the connection between you and Zilvia.
the site is easily 5x faster. i'm on cable and am experiencing zero problems.

Running great for me on cable, better than ever. I was having issues before with the ad cycle thing but finally resolved them on my end.

it's slow for me at work on T3 and it's slow for me at home on cable. the only change i noticed when the server was changed is that now i get 'page cannot be displayed' about half the times i try to access the site.

I have cable and the only reason its ever slow is cause cable slows down at peak times (i.e. evenings, etc.) and i have XP (aka Windows baztard edition)...and thanks again West, the site is awesome and insanely helpful, i'll be sending in a donation once i get some cash (ie after xmas)....
