2008 Mitsubishi Evolution X GSR
Rally Red Base model with factory installed SSS Aero kit
8,900 miles
Price: $34,000
I installed the OEM SSS HID Headlights and Navigation system. The speakers have been upgraded to Pioneer component D-series (separate tweeter and speaker) up front and 2-way speakers in the back.
The car has been tracked a total of 3 times and performed flawlessly. Last time out I ran a 2:00 flat at Buttonwillow which if you search around is a very fast time considering the car's mods and full weight. I just had it on the dyno and it made 347whp and 353tq (Dyno posted for accuracy).
That's more power as when I put all the mods and dynoed the car at 4,000miles. The front Brembo calipers white lettering has turned yellow now since I track the car, the calipers get heated to the point where they discolor.
Car still gets 22mpg @ 80mph on the highway, 27mpg @ 65mpg (not that I ever drive it that slow), and about 16-18mpg in the city depending on how much stop and go traffic you encounter. It feels like you are driving a stock EVO X until you step on the gas.
The interior is pretty much flawless, there's a bit of a mark on the rear door panel from when an exhaust system fell onto the panel and scratched it but otherwise its mint.
The one complaint I have with the car is the shifting is rough until it warms up. If you search on the these forums you'll see that this is very common issue. I've talked to Mitsu engineers and they told me that its just how the trans is built with cheaper components (hey they have to cut costs somewhere), why they cant do that without the rough shifting I dont know. Once you're driving the car for a bit its MUCH better and feels way smoother.
The exterior is a 9/10. Its got some minor nicks and scratches but for the most part there are no cosmetic flaws. The front lip is still in decent shape considering how low the car is but as you can see its got some nicks as well. The one real scratch is on the front bumper (picture posted) I was driving on the 405 HWY and a truck dumped tin cans all over the road, I avoid as many as I can but one hits the side of the bumper and puts a small gash into it. I touched it up but you can still see it.
I built most of this car myself, aside from the alignment and a bit of the suspension work, everything is installed by me. Therefore no corners have been cut. I've maintained this car meticulously and I think it shows. If you're looking for a car you can take to the track and drive on a daily basis or on the weekend this is it. I don't want to get rid of it but the project is done and I just cant keep 4 cars around.
This car was a Modified Mag project car (I work for Modified) so I have all the build details if you want them. You can also view my build thread for all the work on the car.

I've priced this car very fairly I think, you can go buy a brand new stock car or you can buy mine and have all the work done already. It's a matter of what you're looking to do. The price is a bit flexible but NO low balling. If you aren't a local buyer, I will ship this car anywhere in the US.
The car is located in the South Bay area of SoCal and there will be no joy rides, I will provide the test drive and if I feel you are mature enough to drive it you will.
If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask, I will be up front about the car.
The following modifications have been made. I have listed prices beside the items so you get an idea of what it would cost to buy all of this.
