iTunes Alternative to sync iPod?

Installed iTunes on a computer about 6 months ago and computer has gone to complete shit because of it. I'm fed up with it already. I need a lightweight alternative to iTunes. I tried Songbird but its not synching. Seems that their iTunes extension is no longer supported. :confused:

Any suggestions?

I would agree with this. Itunes works perfectly on my Nieces PC laptop. No problems.

Thanks for the concern but I do not have a virus and or spyware. iTunes is just bloated and the services it runs all the damn time are buggy. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look into it.

i bought tune tools and just use windows media player (it has grown leaps and bounds in the last years)

tune tools is like like $20 maybe

it detects whats not on your computer that is on your ipod,
what is not on your ipod that is on your computer.

when you plug in two ipods it tells you what is not on your ipod that is on the other one.
what is on your computer that isnt on either ipod and vice versa.

really good product if you want to transfer music over without dealing with itunes.

i also recommend 7 digital for your smart phone downloads as they do not come with any DRM (digital rights) so you dont have to worry about permission to copy the file.

itunes never given me an issue maybe you just used up too much memory on your computer......

on a some what relative note good song from local SD artist give it a listen :)

I use MusicBee to sync mine, no problem.
I hated iTunes, I will always hate iTunes and will never install it on anything I own again.

"Sharepod" will sinc anything you have to your ipod, and even better, will take anything you want off anyone elses ipod. I just borrow a friends ipod and get songs that way..

JDownloader is a good one as well, it is the one I use to DL Youtube sounds and vids.
