My act 6 puck clutch has decided to start slippin bad to the point where I was left stranded in between intersections without being able to accelerate. Ater parking my car I waited a good two hours and was capable of driving it home without any slipping issues. May i mention the heat/weather difference. When i was left stranded the weather was efing hot. Ater balling, the weather was pretty subtle and cool. The only thing i can think is heat promotes slipping? I looked for leaking motor oil, but nothing. Also want to state that i replaced my rear main seal within the last 3 months. Any ideas?
Second concern.
This maybe a noob question, but I was wondering if ACT pressure plates work with other brand name clutch disk? I was planning on purchasing a exedy stage 2 clutch disk. Does this, or a similar combo work along with the act pressure plate?
My bad for the noob question, but I want to make sure its compatable before spending the dough.
