Okay, so I got a quick question about these banjo going to the oil feed and a banjo on the power steering , do these have to line up with the pipe? I've searched and found that you didn't have to line it up. just need verification if that's the case here

No the holes dont have to be aligned. The banjo that it goes through is bowed out in the center allowing fluid to flow to the line

Alright thanks, and do I need that white stuff to tie around the banjo to prevent leak ( can't think of the name for it at the moment)?

Teflon tape?

No that wont work on Banjo bolts, You need to use copper crush washers one on each side of the Banjo

Man this is great, I like these fast responses. yes that's what I was talking about, I appreciate your time ...I may have to come back and ask more retarded questions I just want to make sure everything is set before I drop this motor in so i don't have to pull it back out again, still waiting for a couple more parts to come in then I'll be done

Actually I got one last question , accidently cut that sorta thick whte wire that connects to the alternator , looks like a ground or some sort I was wondering what's the best way to bond it back together. I can't solder it because that wire is too thick

EDIT I read it again,

Its the one that connects to the 12mm nut?

Nut sure what to do with that, either solder it with a blow torch or but connector or replace that wire

yeah the reason you cant solder a cable that big is cuz the heat disapates too quickly to melt the solder but if you use a torch you can, but ya gotta be quick or you'll melt the wire cover

my bad , it's an SR I'm doing my first swap ever ( more of a computer guy) there's been small things that I've been a little concern with like this, anyways I'm just about ready to drop the motor in as soon as I get my heater hose. What's up?
