Trust me on this, you get what you pay for. I've used an Adesso (?) tablet for my old job, and a few other shitty brands. Wacom daterapes the fuck out of their competition. I would recommend the Intuos4. The Cintiq is balling as fuck, but the price doesn't merit what it is. The bamboo is nice if you're trying things out. Not as sensitive and precise as the Cintiq/Intuos though.

Cliffnotes - get the Wacom Intuos 4.

I'm using the bamboo pen& touch..but I'd love to have an intuous4. My tablet works fine for what I'm doing now just to get a hold of 3d sculpting.

I ordered a monoprice 10x8.25 tablet.. cheapest on the market. But reviews said its ok. Figure it will be a good learner tablet.

Playing with it now. Just getting use to it.

So software is everyone using to do line art? I find clean line art rather hard in photoshop and paintshoppro, so i am trying paint tool sai and seems alot better.

there is no learner tablet
it either works fucking amazing, or it doesnt. i have used prolly a dozen different ones, the intuous 4 is the most amazing tablet in teh world. anything less will frustrate you once you actually use a real tablet

reviews mean almost nothing to me. it is like someone reviewing megan coilovers, who has never used aragosta. but megan is then the best thing in the world to them because they can only compare it to cut springs on blown shocks

it's best to get aclimated with a smaller cheaper tablet and go from there, I know what I want and purchased a cintiq. I haven't used it for a while now but it's one of my favorite purchases I seriously do not regret.

made this video a while ago in response to some dipshit who said the more expensive wacoms were a waste of money.

I should probably get to work and finish this picture lol.
