1990 SE Hatch 5 Speed Rolling Chassis
Clean Title with Unknown Mileage
I purchased this rolling shell from a friend about a month or so ago to build a second chassis to be used for drift and/or grip events, but I have decided not to spend the money necessary to get a second 240SX on the road. It is a great platform to start with and I would love to build a second one, but it is just not financially possible for me at the moment. I could hold on to it, but I would love to see it go to use with someone who will build it up and enjoy it!
The chassis is about 99% rust free. There is some surface rust starting on the driver's side in the engine bay near the frame rail, but it is purely surface rust. The frame rails have some dents from the car being jacked up, but are completely rust free. I removed the front fenders with hand tools and did not break any bolts in the process (I don't think they had ever been removed) if that gives an indication of the lack of rust.
From what I can tell, the car was repainted, but the paint is in pretty solid condition and was done fairly well. The included front fenders are black and will need to be painted to match the car, but are free of major dents and have not been rolled yet. There are buckles above the rear quarter panels from the fenders being rolled/ slightly pulled without using a heat gun, but these should be easily repaired with the "basketball trick." The interior is completely gutted and stripped of sound deadening/interior panels aside from the interior items mentioned below.
Here is what is included with the rolling chassis:
Open differential with a manual transmission driveshaft
Complete stock suspension, including stock struts and springs
Uncracked black dash, center console, and OEM front seats.
Stock steering wheel
Stock struts/springs
Steelies w/ tires
Pignose front bumper w/ oem lip & hardware
Aluminum subframe collars
Extended wheel studs
Energy Suspension front sway bar bushings
180SX gauge cluster
Slotted brake rotors F/R with good pads
Window tint (5% on all but the windshield)
THE BAD:
-Windshield is cracked (but not shattered or anything)
-Front fenders need to be painted to match the rest of the car
-Front pignose bumper has been cut for FMIC and has a scuff on it
-Engine bay is spray bombed white/needs to be painted professionally
-Chassis wiring harness is included, but has been cut when gauges were installed
Pictures- I'll take some updated ones with it on the ground and the black fenders installed:

All in all, this is a super clean roller. I am hoping to get $800 OBO for the rolling chassis. It's pretty hard to find rust free examples of S13 rollers in the North, as I'm sure you know. I had a buyer set for $950, but he had to bail in order to help get his brother out of Japan after the recent events there. Let me know if you are interested or have any questions at all. Thanks a lot!
