WRC Rally Portugal images

Here are some pics from this past weekend's rally. Sebastien Ogier defended his title from last year nicely in this one. Sebastien Loeb came in second and now shares the top spot in the driver's race with Mikko Hirvonen.

Other notables include Petter Solberg roaring back after a retirement on day 1 from a double puncture to set 6 fastest stage times on day 2. He eventually finished 6th overall. The Ford works team of Latvala and Hirvonen led on day 1 but ran into various mechanical issues on day 2 and never quite recovered after that. They finished the rally in 3rd and 4th respectively.

Portugal is really beautiful, the suspension travel in the second pic is epic. The Finns really know how to drive, If you ever get a chance to go to Finland you would love it.
