glad to know it's a "super good" price. I hadn't done much research into what the ricer tax does for these cars recently.
also as much as i'd like an SR powered S13 i've been there, done that, & had to get rid of mine 'cuz it wouldn't pass emissions with a 2871 and 740s.

That's a very very good price, considering the conditoin of the car and all. I think you should raise your price,as i can assure you it'll sell fast at this price and you can get more for it.. I know you said it's an se,but didn't mentioned anything so i'd figured i should ask. Where are the se sideskirts?

oh yeah, i forgot about those. the skirts were sold off before I even got the car. the holes in the rocker panels are there, but the skirts were sold when the previous owner put on the Origin body kit, which I then sold to buy the oem silvia bumpers.

yep. on my trip to md the odometer read close to 360 miles by the time i needed to refuel, plus 8% for the wheels (http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html) it worked out to like 28.something mpg.

s14 tank is 17gal capacity
Low fuel light comes on about the 14 gal mark
so if you refill when the light comes on
360/14 = 26mpg
assuming you started out with a full tank
this I'll buy, 30mpg it's a stretch

right, but plus 8% for the larger tire profile than what the speedo and odometer are calibrated for. The link I provided in my previous post brings you to a tire size calculator that will tell you 225/45-18 will make the speedo read 7.9% slow if the stock tire is 205/50-16. If the odometer read 360 miles from around 14 gallons with the 18" wheels then [i'm assuming you simply take 360 miles and multiply it by 7.9%] I went 388.44 miles on that amount of fuel.
so ~27.75mpg. whatever.
this brings up another point though; I guess I really don't know exactly how many miles are on the car. The 18" wheels have been on it for a couple of years so it's not unreasonable to estimate that the car may be in the 148,000 range.

Let uLmighty buy this from you, so that he'll stop looking for a Kouki. That way I don't have to compete for the next one in Cali.

$6000 will buy the postage for a check and SASE so I can mail you the title and registration, as well as a plane ticket to CT, a limo ride from the airport to my house, a '97 240SX and some of the gasoline required to get it back home.
but i digress: don't be tempted. I don't want to have to deal with someone serious about flying in to buy the car sight unseen if I'm getting local offers, which I am.
