Alt. belt? Grounds?

Also, you have to be more detailed than "my car run for one day then just took a shit on me."

make sure you are getting 12v on the positive terminal of the alt when the engine is not running.

Like i changed the alternator and put a brand new battery and it only lasted a day. I ran new grounds from batt terminal to chasis to the motor. What do u mean by belt ?? Belt isn't that old and its on pretty good. I need to buy multimeter i havent checked it yet. But the ground and the positive looked pretty good. My grounds in the engine bay were all good

You need to check the positive terminal on the alt, it should read 12v when the car is off and 13-14 at idle.

if it doesnt read at the positive terminal on the alt, yet it reads 12v on the 75 amp alt fuse, then its either your lower harness or the plug on the bottom of the fuse box. I had the same issue and my lower harness wasnt plugged into that square 2 prong plug on the bottom of the fuse box. i went through a ton of shit trying to diagnose it.

Check voltage drop on all your connections and wires, on a positive side of a circuit you should have no more than .3 and negative side .1. When the car is on you should have 14.2-3 on the terminal on the alternator and you should not lose more than .3 throughout the whole system or you are having voltage drop somewhere.

You could also have a short. Check for that as well.

I remember on my datsun Jeff wired a little on the dash, the alternator needs a Resistance to charge the battery... the light only comes on for a 2-3 seconds when I turn the ingnition on...

Okay I got a millimeter and i hooked it up to the positve and the negative terminal and it onlyngave me 3.somthing then i got so hot i had. To drop it and the cables got super hot also I put another battery and it did the same thing. Read. Real low. I didn't have time to check tye alternator terminals they called me into wrk

Im not sure what youre trying to say because your grammar is all jacked up. So you measured 3.x volts at the battery terminals? Then the cables started to get hot? The battery cables or the cables for the multimeter? Maybe you have a short somewhere.

My bad i got a new phone am not used to the touch screen . Yea the multimeter got super hot and so did the cables. Then it did a little spark

You are doing something wrong then lol. It should be on the dc 20v setting. Post a pic of your mm?

okay my battery terminals check in at 12.63. but when i go check in my alternator positive terminal its reads the same when the car is off once i turn on the car it stays at 0 !!! and when i turn on my ac and my headlight the volt meter drops to 10.-- to 11.-- on the bat terminal ??

check all your wiring going to the alt an the plugs on it. ill take a look at my car an see if i can find other possible answers for you.
