I have a 98 240sx, but its an auto and i want to swap trannys so i can have manual. Only thing is that i have heard that if you swap trannys then they have a lot of problems because they dont match the engine or something. Just wondering if this was true. Any info would be very helpful.

That is wrong info

You can use a KA trans auto or manual on any KA 240sx engine ..

hey would a 93 tranny fit a 89..i've read a lot of posts and no one ever says can it or not. they just say, they think it will.

i searched for manaul tranny swap. :(
then i get ppl saying u can't.. =[ mixed reviews sorry.

hey catty...make sure you get a healthy tranny on there. Nothing worse than having a crap tranny and a new healthy motor.
