Alright guys. I hunted for a good hour on google and the search around here. So I can at least say I've made the attempt before I posted a new thread.

I've got a 95 s14 base with the 6 speaker sound system. (If that helps). It's got a power antennna that stays around half way up at all times and everytime I start the car up and shut it off, I hear this sound that has tobe the power window motor wanting to make the antenna go up and down.

Now, unlike a lot of the other previous threads I don't care to replace it. I pretty much listen to cd's all the time. So I just want the antenna down at all times and for me to never hear that motor make noise. What I need is info on disconnecting the power supply. I've already removed the panels and the bracket holding the jack in place. I can see the big clear wire the comes from undernearth the motor and then there's a black spiral wire coming from the side of the motor that ties into the wires that feed power to the tail lights. Is it safe to assume the black spiral wire the power supply wire? Is it connected to a plug because I can't feel one and it's not visible. I'd rather not cut it, but if that's what I had to, then I could just cap off the end pieces. Or, is there an easier solution like a fuse that just powers the antenna? Thanks in advance.

Is your radio stock? If not pull your radio out and see what the blue wire is hooked up to. If its hooked up to anothe blue wire disconnect that. That is your power antenna wire. The wire that makes your antenna go up and down. To answer your next question yes there is a harness back there. Don't just chop random wires without knowing what they are. Let me know if this helps.

you have 3 option

1. if your running an aftermarket radio disconnect the blue wire from the head unit that sends the signal.

2 unplug or cut the black and green wire on the power antenna module.

3. remove/ unbolt the ground wire and cap it from the power antenna module.

On my S14 Silvia out here, I just unplugged the damn plug into it and left it down.

I must've had the biggest durr moment out there. I didn't want to cut any wires and I didn't. I forgot all about the blue wire behind the stereo. Guess I'm too eager to assume that the problem is always something more complex than what it really is. I took my stereo out and it figures that someone's made a complete mess of wires back there. Some are cut, some are capped, and some are just bound with electrical tape. I'm just gonna man up and admit that I don't know what I'm doing with all this wiring So I'm just take it to a stereo shop. Thanks again for all the advice guys.
