wires melting...need help asap

ok so i get to ihop tonite and all my electrical stuff shuts off and headlights flicker...i got an s14 rb20det...its melting at my mega littelfuse that runs my battery to the trunk...its not the positive or negative but another that runs to a plug with 2 wires(its a wide plug with 2 wires) does anyone know what the problem is as i need this fixed asap

sounds like you are running too small of wire in area's, too much power being pushed through very little copper means overheating and melting
