i got a 91 240sx fastback w/ 50k miles on it..

heres the problem:

when i apply the brakes, the car brakes normally and stops. then when i keep the brakes applied to keep the car at a stop, the car slowly creeps foward and i have to press the brake down even more and the brake pedals actually able to go down even more from where it was from the inital braking..(does that make sense?)..what should i check or any suggestions as to wat may be causing this? if u guys want me to clarify sumthing more let me kno..thanks.

p.s i jus had the master cylinder for the brake changed and assuming its properly installed and the part i got is right..i kno my brake system is nonABS
