Dealership has them for a bargain at $800!
But seriously...I just got my cat in order to pass smog; it is the MagnaFlow weld-in. If you live in or around Orange County I recommend where I went; can't remember the name at the moment. It cost me $250 installed and they had them in stock; only took like 20 minutes.

Yeah, just go to any muffler shop buy/order one.
It would help to know what area you're in. CA is big.

Yes, they used the flanges off the original CAT

thats cool i didn't know that was possible i guess i don't need to find a bolt on cat, ill just buy the MagnaFlow one and tell the guy at the muffler shop to weld the flanges off the original cat to the MagnaFlow one, that was simple, thanks

Not sure if you are aware, but recently, CA passed a law mandating '95 cars require a California specific cat if it is not an OEM. Magnaflow does make one which is the one I got...

I think I got charged ~$250 installed and it is a weld in. The new cats are designed to be more efficient with more substrate and also have big readable CARB OE numbers on them so that techs can easily see that it is legal.

i brought my old cat to a muffler shop around my area (Valley Muffler) had them measure the length, weld new pipes and flanges. took it home and installed it look almost as clean as this:

far as brand/kind i dont know exactly but like mentioned earlier the numbers are stamped bigger.

IIRC, the S14 only ran the rear cat in CA, the front was replaced with a resonator or something. Again working from memory, the rear cat is the same as the s13. I bought a bolt in Magnaflow for my s13, and it's worked great for me. Passed wonderfully (after I sorted out some unrelated issues). I'll see if I can find the part#, I just ordered it from Kragen.
edit: 22767, search on O'reilly auto and it'll come up. Also, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on the information above. It's been a long while since I looked this up, and I'm too lazy to re-do the research atm. Maybe once I've gotten some sleep.
