i want remove my front emblem along with the rear ones cause i want my car to be plain black but in other threads, i've read that the front ones have 2 pegs holding it onto the hood.  nowi don't want to remove it and have 2 holes to deal with so i was thinking on painting it black as well.  now how would i remove the emblem without breaking one of the pegs to paint it?

very very carefully........

actually, you'll probably have to just break it off then buy a new one

There's no need to break the emblem off to remove it. &nbsp;Just take some waxed dental floss (mint or regular <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>) and use it to &quot;saw&quot; under the emblem to cut through the adhesive. &nbsp;If you use a heat gun or blow dryer to heat up the adhesive a bit, it should come off easier. &nbsp;After you get it off, just make sure to get all the adhesive off using some goo gone or some other type of solvent that takes adhesives off. &nbsp;Just make sure you're not using something that also breaks paint down! &nbsp;After you've got the area free of adhesive, clean it up really well, then use a good cleaner wax a couple of times, then a polish to help take away the outline. &nbsp;Since you're replacing it, you could skip the waxing bit, but it's good to clean under there, since it'll probably be the only time you do it. &nbsp;Good luck!

Don't paint the emblem :\ That looks really ghetto... If anything, try and find a replacement emblem

is this for all versions of the 240sx? &nbsp;And is that &quot;S&quot; shield emblem a glue on job too?

Yes you can use the same process for removing the Nissan hood emblem from all year 240's. &nbsp;The Silvia &quot;S&quot; emblem has posts that utilize the same holes that the USDM/Euro Nissan badge does as well as an adhesive backing. &nbsp;
