Fold your back seat down, right behind it lift up the carpet and you'll see 4 10mm bolts holding down a plate with wires coming out of it. Remove that, then I believe you'll see a cap looking thingy, twist it off(might need to use a hammer and. Screw driver and lighty tap it. That should reveal the pump hanger assembly. I might be wrong maybe some other bolts u gotta take off, I don't fully remember the s14

your correct so far, only thing you left out is that you need to unplug all the hoses before you pop the retainer ring out that holds the pump/pick-up assembly. after that youll see the pump and all its glory. remove, replace and reassemble in reverse order of how you took it out

First disconnect battery! Should of googled it or even searched this forum site. And with your electrical issue, first thing should of been to check your fuses, battery, and connections before you asked.

remember to remove the fuel pump fuse and prime the engine! it drains all the fuel from those lines you will remove so theirs no mess. (i learned the hard way) but as they said. heres the site i used when i was doing mine.

S13 Walbro Fuel Pump Install - Nissan 240SX Forums (http://www.240sxforums.com/forums/do-yourself-section/99774-s13-walbro-fuel-pump-install.html)

i know it says s13 but its the exact same procedure.

the only difference in doing an s14 instead of an s13 is the pump is in the tank, mounted on a bracket. Which sucks because your hand will be in gas unless you have less than a half tank.

Also make sure to reuse your fuel screen and not the dinky little walboro one. Just back-flush it before reinstalling.

I was just wondering how would you be able to relieve the fuel pump if I can't even get the car started any suggestions? Should I just keep on cranking it till I feel the fuel is relieved?

Make sure you do it with like half a tank or less so you dont have to stick your arm in a full tank...

Turn car on.
remove fuel pump fuse and car will slowly die out.
crank engine a couple times to relieve the pressure.
open gas tank too
peel back carpet and undo the 4 bolts hold plate down
remove the 3 lines i think and 2 plugs.
unscrew cap(use something to tap it with like hammer and screwdriver because its hard)
stick hand in hole and search for the unit on the wall towards you ad just pull it up it slides.
take off the wires and the hose on the fuel pump and cut and solder the wires. install is reverse of uninstall.

put your fuse back in, turn key to on, let your pump prime itself then start the car.
I just redid mine like a week ago. and like they said either reuse your fuel sock or buy the one that i think its like an 97-01 prelude sock.

Good luck bro.

Oh and if your doing your fuel filter too i pretty much just took the lines off and put them on my new filter. probably a procedure to getting the gas out the lines but i just did it the hard way and let fuel spill everywhere. but i got it done :)
