Project S13bay

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls of all ages. I would like to present to you, the start of my seventh 240sx project and the start of a new idea: Project S13bay. My new idea and concept is using this very bare shell as a testing platform for all purchases through EBAY only. My intent is to be the first user assisted/controlled build with these purchases only for testing and review purposes. I have read one too many threads where someone asks if anyone else has used an ebay item and gets flamed to no end by people who have not even used the product. I am certain that I can meet this goal with great success with the help and support of all of my friends here on ZILVIA. I have been in the 240 game for six years and counting now and I would be more than honored to serve that community with the review of the products that the MAJORITY of us have the money for. I am in the process now attempting to get site and advertising sponsors to make this project move forward and the more search engine hits I can get to my project the better.

Project S13bay can be found on a number of different sites. I have created a group on face book at *Deleted*. I have also created a blog that will serve as the first page for user communication to the owner and operator, that site is at *Deleted*. I have also attached this vehicle to my cardomain page at *Deleted*. At my cardomain you can see other projects including my very first one. I like to document and record what goes on in a build and my first project shows evidence of that. I hope to get some positive feedback from you all. My intent is 100% ebay purchased "performance parts." If I get a donation for a ebay JDM swap I'll do it, but as it stands right now, I am the only one funding this project. So until I get this word out that I am providing your very own test dummy, then it will be slow. The more public access and interest, the more possibilities open to secure its success. Busted S13, I plan to take suggestions from the blog site comments of the products that you are interested in and want to know more about, install them on the car, test their performance and reliability under "typical" driving habits whether it is street, racing, or drifting....and record all of my findings on the site of all that for everyone to see.

There was a guy a couple years back on NICO that did this. He never got the car started and ended up selling it. Hope that doesn't happen here. I'm looking forward to the outcome.

So you will be using nothing but knock-off ebay parts right? Cuz nismo shop sell mounts and other item via ebay. Like maybe those DELRIN solid poly mounts? Along with coilovers thats similar to GODSPEED and what-not.

Guess we'll have to see. Hope its not jst gonna be put together and be a garage queen. Are you gonna put it through stress test and reliability? Drift/ track time?

Yes, I am going for the no name brands and the knock-off poser brands. I want to see how well they will perform, the ease of install, and the reliability for weekend fun. I hope that this doesn't fall flat on its face, and in hoping so I have already sent out 29 support proposals to individual ebay stores that sell "performance" parts. I'm still awaiting response.

Bear in mind guys, for this to launch the way I'd like it to, we got to get as much action as possible on the cardomain and blog site. I have hit counters on both to show what kind of traffic they are getting. If any of the so far 29 busniesses I have sent proposals to don't see the traffic it needs then funding will be only to my dime. I would appreciate any facebook linking to the sites. I'm really hoping to turn heads and tweak those eye brows. Let's get the word out there and around, what ya say guys?!

If you have completed your build, wrangle all those pictures into a post and tell us about it, but make sure the build is finalized. If you insist on having an in-progress build, Premium members have a specialized subforum for that specific purpose.
