Might be a stupid question, but how does one mount the side skirts when our usdm cars never came with mounting hardware for those side skirts? Is the included 'hardware' mounting hardware?

You can mount it with double sided tape and screws on the bottom. Or you can punch out holes on the body to make the included hardware work on your car. The skirts already come with double sided tape it just needs to be peeled off before installing them.
