I am trying to increase response in my setup so I want to get some 264 duration cams. I don't want to loose any power either as I made 335whp at 16.5psi.

This is my current setup:
- GT2871R .64 (bolt on T25/8 style housing)
- Internal Wastegate, HKS actuator
- Nismo 555cc Injectors
- Stock intake/exhaust manifolds
- Stock TB
- Power FC D Jetro
- Full 3 inch exhaust
- Huge FMIC
- BC Step 3 272 Cams
- BC Titanium Springs and retainers
- Cometic Head gasket, ARP studs

I am currently deciding between BC Stage 2 264 cams and HKS Step 2 264 cams. Both have the same duration but the lift on the BC cams is 12.06mm while the HKS is 11.5mm. Other than that, the BC cams are $330CDN and HKS is $600CDN.

Just wondering if it is worth it to pay extra (almost double) to purchase HKS. Will I get any performance gain or am I just paying for the brand?

Thanks.

Matt beat me too it.

RUN JWT S3's (500 usd) and dont' worry about springs or retainers.

More notes:
-Don't run that Cometic gasket, look into an ApexI or Cosworth
-555 cc will not be sufficient for the upper power that turbo can support. You want 615cc at minumum
-Make sure you have a Greddy turbine outlet on that as well

Other than that, check out the 2871r users thread....it's super informative (granted long) but tons of information.
