I just put my car back together after painting it. I did take off the doors and stuff to do the jambs cause I changed the color. I have made sure that the connection for the power units is completely plugged in too. My left window will not roll down now, I do hear a clicking sound coming from the window motor amp. I'm not the best when it comes to electrical so I thought I would run it across you guys. I appreciate any info you can give me.

If it clicks and does nothing its most likely the amp, try putting direct 12v to the motor and see if it goes up and down

yes I did.
I did find out that they did power the door up to roll up the window to remove the door handles, but the right door is working fine. I'm gonna take off the amp off the right door and try it on the left to see if that's it.

i had a similar situation happen ,what i did was search forum and came up with loose solder connections inside of amp box, removed board resoldered connections and window worked again . try looking for that before going out and try replace a lot of parts for nothing

If my motor doesnt "click" and my sunroof and passanger window dont work could it still be a bad solder?
