I dont get your question.
So you have a HUD so I assume you have a coupe, or did you install a HUD in a fastback.
If its in a coupe, whats wrong with it, and what does that have to do with the whole dash.
If its in a fastback, are you referring to the digital cluster or the acutal HUD unit that sits on the dash. Did you cut a hole for it?
Or am I way off and your dash is all cracked up and you want to redo the whole thing. If thats the case, get a new dash from the junkyard if it is that messed up and you can't stand it anymore.
Now please explain your situation a little more thoroughly.

Just buy a regular black dash from a junkyard and cut a square hole in it for the HUD to work....and use the old dash as a pattern for cutting the hole.

i had the same q? I guess it just means re-upholstering, so basically putting new fabric over it.

when you cover something in vinyl its called "wrapping it" because you have to heat and stretch the vinyl and wrap it around to the rear of the piece being covered in order to secure the vinyl. And you can rewrap any dash, take it to an interior shop near you. The big question is, with the extra vinyl on top will it still fit? or will you have to peel off the old layer first?

ok imma try this... im gonna remove the dash, have it wrapped up in new vinyl and see how that goes. if not, im gonna buy a regular 240sx dash and just cut a square on it. *sigh* but has anyone done any of these things? ok holla
