lol don't buy it. Wait for BF3. BC2 is really fun in comparison with the nonsensical BS that most people call CoD; Lots of crazy fun but it was designed for the console gamer in mind. So no planes and map sizes are really pretty tiny and linear. After about lvl 25 there isn't really much to do because you would've unlocked everything by then. There's a 50 level cap...

BF3 is being designed strictly for the PC gamer in mind so it should be REALLY good. Looking at the Frostbite 2 engine, it looks real pretty.

that cpu should be fine. You have plenty of RAM.
Biggest problem would be your GPU :P. You can get a pretty good one for cheap but.. it all depends on budget. If you don't mind playing on mid-low settings, then I would say you're fine.

hopefully our quad core at 3.4 with 8gb ram and 2 gtx295s can run it at best. may haev to jump up to a new sandybridge and a pair of 580s

Medal of Honor was pretty cool, but not enough people play it.

now i wanna try out the BF games.

one aspect i love which EA does a really good job at , is the sound effects and the ambient noise. adds to the overall experience imo, and it uses the full potential of surround sound :)

i just wish they would increase the damage on some guns.

thats why sniping is always fun. 1 shot, 1 kill.

BC2 is the best console shooter ive ever played, aside from a few glitches and some shitty maps

i feel like digging up my bf2 or bf2142 cds and installing them. I may not be the most precise sniper but being able to fly a plane and bomb on people or blast around in a tank made up for it lol
