I was just wondering if this kit works very well on a 240 lowered to 2.0 inches in the rear. Ive heard that the bushings tend to weaken and therefore not fully correct the degree consistently. Also which brand should i get for the front camber bolts, its either the Ingalls kit or the PDM. Oh and one other thing how much negative degree would it be if the car is lowered 2.0 inches all around? Thanks for the help.

My car is supposedly 1.5" lower (I never actually checked it) and with the stock adjusters all the way out (towards 0 degrees) it was at 2.2 degrees. One set of the whiteline put it back to 1.8ish (also adjusted all the way toward 0 deg). I'm fine with them now but honestly, they're a pain in the ass. Once they're pressed in it's nearly impossible to change their position.
I haven't had the long enough to evaluate fully but I can see how they might weaken. It's a two peice bushing and you end up with about a 3mm gap in the center. I dunno, it may be no big deal but that's a good bit of surface area that's going to waste.
I'm not totally dogging them. Ultimately I'm pleased with the results. It's just that it's about $1 worth of material for $85 and for that, you don't get perfection. A better solution is to have adjustable arms. It just wasn't an option for me.

Thanks for replying to my topic it helped me alot on my decision. So the front camber bolts should hold up well right since its not a bushing am i right? Also how easy is it to adjust the camber with the bolts and bushings? I have no idea how those kits work. thanks.

the front bolts are just eccentric and all you have to do is rotate them to change the camber. I personally don't like them, I found my camber changed almost every time I hit a good bump or hole. I am definately going w/ plates next time. As for the rear, no experience w/ the bushings, but I still say go all the way (especially w/ that much drop) and get adjustable arms.

From what I've seen , yes. I have adjustable plates on the front so I don't have direct experience with the bolts.

If we're talking about the front, my guess is that the adjustment is pretty easy. Getting it to a specific setting may be tough to do yourself depending on how you'll measure the camber. I use a square, calipers and a little trig to figure it so it goes like:
adjust----> measure------> adjust measure ...blah,blah blah until I get it right.
It isn't hard but it takes time. If you are just going to go to an alignment shop then get them to do it. If you're interested in doing it yourself I'll post a general "how to".
An like s14slide says, the plates are really a lot easier to deal with. Yes, it's a big jump in cost but if you think you'll be changing it more than a couple times, it's worth it.

can't you just slot the stock strut mounts or ...??
I've seen some guys do this for other cars but never on 240's.
