I got a used t28 from a s14 sr20det. i bought it with intentions of rebuilding it, but have decided to go another route. It does have shaftplay. The guy i bought it from says it will need to be rebuilt.

$125 OBO. Preferred picked up. Will ship if needed.

Just wondering . . . how do you rebuild a ball bearing turbo? might help your sale if you explain it

he's right, but that's why I asked for the part number.

something looks funny about that turbine wheel. It looks tiny in the housing. Is it just the angle of the shot?

actually I'm pretty sure you're right.Actually it depends when it was manufactured. Early s14 T28's were journal bearing and in late 96 (don't quote me on the year) they switched to ball bearing. If you get the number off the plate on the center section, you should be able to find out which one it is.

I will offer $120 shipped to Concord, NC 280025
Also I need pix of the inlet - did the wheel scrap the housing due to bad shaft play? Also need the #'s on the tag.
